Low-HP classes, on the other hand, are in danger of getting burst down by unlucky crits if they take a single non-negligible hit extra HP gives them a much bigger "safety net" before you have to start worrying about their health, even if their max HP isn't improving by that much. It's true that LEP and CRU get the most HP from an HP trinket, but because they're so tanky in the first place it's rarely worthwhile to actually give them defensive boosts. If you're going to stick to one or the other trinkets in the OP, go with whichever one ramps up his damage on low health (I believe it's the collar), but otherwise I'd recommend Bleed Amulet and a tiny dose of accuracy (he doesn't need much due to being pretty damn accurate in general).

This is a no-brain choice and is a great trinket for him throughout the game, even late-game - but by then I tend to go for his CC +bleed chance trinket and/or his crystal trinket - both of which reduce his health for the sake of whopping +bleed chance and other perks. My most common early/mid-game trinket for him is the "Bleed Amulet", +bleed chance and +bleed resistance (seeing as his support abilities can bleed himself). The only time you should stack HP on a FLA is if you're using anything other than Exang & Redeem, such as having him as a front-line stress-healer with double-bleeds, HoT and mark. That doesn't mean you shouldn't consider upping it more, but that it can be sacrificed for better trade-offs in a lot of cases. His deathblow resist is also obscenely high even without extra DB trinkets.

He also gains perks when on low health, so pushing that healthpool higher doesn't do as much for him as it would other classes seeing as it just means he has to take more overall punishment to gain said perks. The FLA doesn't have a big HP pool, thus +HP trinkets aren't as beneficial to him as, say, a LEP or CRU who have large HP pools that can be made far larger.Ī lot of the FLA's good trinkets come at -HP costs, which I view as fine given it just means a higher liklihood of being put into a situation where he can use his HP-restricted abilities.
